Hello. I hope this NG is the right place to ask this question...

I've been poking around various Web sites for WWII propaganda posters. Since many originals on these sites are either not for sale, or very expensive (and justifiably so), I'm interested in purchasing reprints.

The problem is that I'm having a tough time finding any place that sells them at all, let alone for a decent price. Does such a thing exist? I'd be surprised if it did not.

If anyone can offer leads (either Web sites, catalogues or more appropriate NGs), please forward them to me, or reply to this NG for the benefit of all. For the most part, I'm interested in the European theatre, both 'home front' and 'frontline' themes.

Thanks in advance!

Last year I went to the Imperial War Museum in London and bought some cheap Churchill poster reproductions. I don't know if the Museum has a web site, but you could try
www.winstonchurchill.org

and see if there are any sale areas.

For Britain there are plenty of reproduction posters available fairly cheaply (well they were 4 years ago when I bought them). Try the Imperial War Museum, RAF Museum Hendon, RAF Museum Duxford. Steve Thomas

The Library of Congress' website has a LARGE collection of scanned posters from WW2 Sorry but I can't recall the web address off the top of my head (and I'm writing this from work not home)
