I would HIGHLY recomend this book: 'Encyclopedia of German Tanks of WWII (revised edition)' by Peter Chamberlain and Hilary Doyle, ISBN 1-85409-214-6.

Well, try 'Tiger - Die Geschichte einer legendären Waffe 1942-45' by Egon Kleine and Volkmar Kühne. Great book (it´s written in German). ISBN 3-87943-414-X It contains the whole development and nearly all the battles it fought. Lots of company histories, pictures, all the information you need.
