Would someone please post information about the Stalingrad movie recently mentioned in this newsgroup. I'm trying to get my local video center to buy it. When the video center assistant and I tried to find it in the store's 4' catalogue of available movies, we couldn't find it (I thought it was called 'Stalingrad'. Would someone please provide correct title, film company, etc.

Thanks in advance.

Jeff, I've asked for it at my local mall video store, asking the store personnel, checking the thick 4' catalog and even microfiche file and they could not find any availability on it yet. The clerk thinks it might be 'too new' to be in retail sale availability at this time. Let me know if you do find it. Ken Weiler Sterling, Virginia

I gather, from the portion of the thread I've seen, that this has been released on video. Can anyone tell me whether the video is any longer (or shorter) than the version that was released to theatres in the US? I saw it in the theatre twice, and both times it seemed like there were some scenes missing.

Any info appreciated. Thanks.
