Well I've seen it again and I am going to set you guys straight.

The sniper says 'two tigers and 2 PANZERS' not panthers.

The german SS soldat who passes 'uppan' on the stairs is NOT THE SAME ONE AS BEFORE!! Just look at the man, he is bigger than the other german, who was wearing army jacket. It is just one of te war things I guess. As for later on the man that upan? shoots is the same and is still wearing the army insignia. Try to enjoy the movie guys!!

Well, the sniper only gave handsignals - it was Hanks who interpreted it as 'Panzer'.
