I have recently come across a belt buckle featuring a swastika in the center, the words 'Gott mit uns' across the top, and a tree growing from the bottom and surrounding the swastika. Does anyone know what this could be?

Gott min us means God is with us. I do not know the origins or meaning of the tree though.

Possibly the Nordic 'Tree of Life', 'Yggdrassil'?

If it's a palm tree, that would be the Afrika Korps.

If there is Gott mit uns, it is a Heer belt buckle, the SS belt buckles were written Mein Ehre heisst treue(My honor is called fidelity). I don't know the meaning of the tree.

If it is a tree growing from the bottom with a swastika it is the symbol of the German Afrika Corps
