I'm needing any help and information on how to go about finding film that may have been shot of my uncle during WWII. He was a B-24 pilot in the 449th bombardment group, 716th squadron, completing 37 missions. I have all of his flight records and everything. These were given to me by him. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Thank you.

The National Archives has a lot of film, and it is indexed by several variables.

Their NAIL site needs some time [both to load the *giant* pages, and feel your way through their search engine] but it is well worth the effort.

Start at http://nara.gov and head for the NAIL pages.

Try contacting the Imperial War Museum, they hold most of the archive footage

National Archives and Records Service Motion Picture, Sound and Video Branch Washington DC 20408 Tel: 202 786 0041

or search their website.

Army Air Force combat subjects are Records Group 18CS. If you have the film title and date add it to his name, squadron, group. Good luck, Trap
