In Command Magazine, issue #9, p.48, Carl Schuster wrote an article describing German 1943 invasion plans.

I don't think it was Fall WeiB(Case White) since that was a different operation, this was I believe the Conquest of Poland.

But I would like to hear more about that invasion of Sweden though! They almost had plan for everything so why not for Sweden.

there definitely were some plans (I believe it's probably normal for any military to work out plans for all kinds of scenarios. After all, the internal situation in a neighbouring country could change for example making a new gouvernment gibe up neutrality and side with your enemy) but I doubt that they were ever seriously considered.

If I'm not mistaken the name of the plan was 'Polar Fox'

My understanding is that the Germans had planed to invade Sweeden following a successful operation Citidel(sp?). But since the Germans got trounced in the battle of Kursk they never went forward with the invasion. It makes me wonder what might have happened had the Germans somehow avoided disaster at Kursk? It seems that Germany still held a strong position in 1943 and with a stalemate on the Eastern Front they might have lasted an extra year or more.
