Film about Italian divisions in Barbarossa

I saw a wonderful film years ago that followed a group of Italian soldiers in the German invasion of the Soviet Union. I don't recall the title and would appreciate it if anyone knows it and can post the title. Thanks.

This *might* be 'Seven Beauties,' by Lina Wertmueller (pardon the spelling!), ca 1975.

It is not, per se, about a group of Italians after Barbarossa, but specifically about one of the group, Pasqualino, who, along with one or more companions, is captured by the germans and put in a concentration camp.
