My uncle was KIA 1940, I have researched the raid over Norway that he never came back from but I can't find any photo's of the squadron airplanes or crew members for the years 1939 - 40. I would welcome any personal information that could assist me in researching the squadron history more.

You could try the Public Records Office at Kew They have a massive ammount of records/photos Try first at http://www.pro.gov.uk/default You might like to order online their book 'RAF Records at PRO' which will explain all the massive archive they have

I have 60 losses for 50 Sqdn in 1940. Please tell me your uncle's name and I will revert with loss details.
