Where can I find information of this unit (126th MI Infantry). Supposedly it is out of Grand Rapids, Michigan. Trying to find a list of the names of people who left out of that area.

Brenda, the 126th *US* Infantry Regiment served with the 32nd Infantry Division, which was made up of National Guard units from Michigan and Wisconsin. They served in New Guinea and the Phillipines. (Some Guard units also have a state regimental designation, but it would be very unusual to have the same number federally.)

There is a book called _Red Arrow Men_ by John M. Carlisle (Detroit, 1945) that you might find if you have interlibrary loan services where you are.

The public libraries of Detroit or Grand Rapids, or the Michigan State/U of Michigan libraries probably have some info.

Hope this helps.
